Introducing the ALDI Encore Box

This week's Blind Boxes flew off the virtual shelves in seconds, and judging by the response, plenty of shoppers wanted another shot.

Based on fan demand, we’re here with an encore. That’s right, we are releasing 5,000 more Blind Boxes on Friday, June 26.

Qs about the Queue?

Q: Why am I waiting in a queue?
A:
The queue manages high traffic during popular drops by controlling how many customers can check out at the same time. When demand is high, customers are placed in line and moved through checkout as space becomes available. Once you're in the queue, it cannot reserve inventory, skip customers ahead, or be manually adjusted. It is there to manage traffic and keep checkout running during high-demand events.

Q: Does being in the queue guarantee I will get a Blind Box?
A:
No. Blind Boxes are not reserved when they're added to a cart or when you enter the checkout queue. Inventory is only deducted when an order is successfully completed. During high-demand drops, inventory can sell out while customers are still moving through the queue, which means you may reach checkout to find the item is no longer available.

Q: I’ve waited a long time in the queue, am I getting a box?
A:
Not necessarily. Waiting in the queue gives you a chance to purchase a Blind Box, it does not reserve one for you. If the queue has been active for an extended period, the boxes are likely sold out.

Q: Is this queue different than any others?
A:
Nope. Think of it like trying to score tickets to your favorite concert the moment they go on sale. Everyone joins the same line, demand is high, and sometimes the show sells out before everyone reaches the front. While getting in line gives you a chance to buy, it doesn't guarantee a ticket, or in this case, a Blind Box.
